FRC Team 1108 first competed at the 2003 Lone Star Regional. This rookie team, with ten members, two faculty mentors, and three community mentors was honored that year to bring home the prestigious Rookie All Star Award. Panther Robotics qualified to attend the Championship at Houston and was named National Rookie All Stars at this event.
Since this promising beginning, the team has worked tirelessly to emulate the successes of our rookie year. Nineteen trophies, including five Regional Chairman’s Awards, have since been added to our collection.
