Safety is the team's #1 priority. The Safety Committee ensures the shop and team members are aware of safety protocol throughout the season. Training is required for members using tools and equipment in the shop area. A test is also administered by the safety committee to insure adherence to safety guidelines. Safety glasses and earplugs are provided for team members as well as guests. The team is proud of its first UL Industrial Safety Award from the 2008 Lonestar Regional.
